LTA Summer County Cup

County Week will be returning to CourtX later this month! The doubles competition will run from Monday 24th to Friday 28th.

LTA's Summer County Cup event – commonly known as ‘County Week’ – is possibly the oldest tennis event on the domestic calendar, dating back as far as 1895.

44 counties across the nation are divided into groups based on their results of the previous year’s event with Group 1 being the ‘premier league’. Teams compete against each other over a week to see which team comes out as champions.

This year we will be hosting men’s division 6 which consists of the following counties:

Avon
Cumbria
Oxfordshire
Herefordshire & Worcestershire
Wiltshire
Shropshire

Play typically commences around 11:00 until the early evening. Please note that in the case of bad weather the competition will be moved to the artificial grass courts. In light of this please be aware that we may need to cancel your booking at short notice should the grass courts be unplayable. During the week please keep an eye on your emails / the ClubSpark booking sheet.

This is always a highlight of the tennis calendar so we encourage you to come and watch some great grass court doubles! As usual our bar will be open serving drinks and snacks.
